Down the hill below the garden is a stand of spruce trees - planted in the 80's to sell as christmas trees, but abandoned like the rest of the nursery they have now grown up and are reaching 40'. We have supplied ten of them this week to make spars for an eco fishing boat being built by James Wharram and Hanneke Boon in Devoran. More details can be found at www.wharram.com
