Sarah Jane Humphrey - Botanical Illustration Workshops

Sarah Jane is an award winning Artist and has been represented by the Royal Horticultural Society, most recently gaining a Silver Gilt Medal for her Botanical Art exhibition of Lavenders at the Lindley Halls, Westminster, London.

With a growing interest for Botanical Illustration, the latest workshops are due to begin in June at Potager. An idyllic setting with a gentle approach to Botanical Illustration taught by Sarah Jane Humphrey. Using mixed media, Sarah Jane will take you through the cathartic process of choosing plants and flowers to illustrate from the beautifully stocked gardens to tips and techniques to perfect your skills.

Welcoming all levels to the workshop, from the complete beginner to the confident artist. Sarah Jane will take time to deliver a class and also give everybody one to one tuition, in a light and relaxed environment. Please do feel free to bring along your own materials, although paints, paper, pencils etc. will happily be provided on the day.

Each ticket will include a tea or coffee from the Potager Garden café during the workshop. An opportunity to explore the gardens, and purchase selected plants. Demonstrations with group and one to one tuition, followed by a delicious wholesome lunch, made using the finest local organic produce.
