Emma Gunn is an expert forager who’s enthusiasm for plants is infectious. We’re really excited to work with her and can’t wait to test out the foraged culinary delights that she and our awesome head chef Daisy will be cooking up!
The session will start with Emma talking about the principles of foraging and then will take you on a tour around the gardens like you’ve never had before, discovering all the edible plants within the garden and through the surrounding hedgerows, experiencing flavours you never realised were right on your doorstep. After the walk we will head to the café to have a delicious three course foraged lunch, tailored to suit the season, created by Emma and Daisy. All food is vegetarian and seasonal.

Foraged gyoza with a sweet soy and sesame dipping sauce
Sushi norimaki rolls using three cornered leek, borage leaves and black mustard
A matcha latte served with a trio of wagashi
The walk starts at 11 so aim to get to Potager by about 10.50am to give you time to park and walk up to the café.
The walk will take about an hour and a half and will start just outside the café. Bring suitable clothing.
