An introduction into botanical ink making and experimental mark making. Learn the ancient process of making oak gall ink and the colours hidden in the natural world around us. We will make our own bamboo quills and experiment with different mark making and drawing techniques using the inks we have made. All materials are included and you will leave with your own bottle of ink and booklet of drawings. This workshop is suitable for everyone who is curious to learn!
Please bring your own packed lunch or you’re welcome to buy lunch in the café. Tea and coffee will be provided.
