Join us for an evening of music and informal dining as we welcome Liz Ikamba, The Worm and Goblet.
Included in the ticket price, Flo will be serving wood fired shawarma kebabs with flatbreads, pickles and salads.
Brighton-based Afro-soul-folk singer and multi-instrumentalist Liz Ikamba cross-pollinates influences from Congolese village roots to jazz, soul, reggae and hip hop. Blending loop pedal and vocal improvisations with soul-infused harmonies, groove-driven riffs and beats, she creates an intimate kind of folk music, where audience are part and parcel, as well as soul of the show.
She’ll be promoting her upcoming crowdfunder to support the completion of her EP ‘Mama’, due for release in Spring 2023. You can look forward to getting a live preview of some of the tracks on the night!
The Worm is a multi-instrumentalist and creator of contemporary low-fi early sf/fantasy pastoral experimental pop music. Goblet will be playing newish compositions for three recorders by The Worm entitled ‘Valley’, which they describe as fictional community dance music.
