Watercolour Workshop with Hilary Simon – 11th and 12th July 2026

Join artist and illustrator, Hilary Simon for a 1 or 2 day watercolour workshop where we’ll explore expressive techniques inspired by the surroundings of Potager Garden.

For those interested in a more themed approach, there will also be an option to work within a vibrant Mexican-inspired palette, drawing influence from the life and work of Frida Kahlo. This theme connects to the workshops I am presently leading at Tate Modern for their forthcoming exhibition, and offers a chance to explore bold colour, symbolism, and personal narrative in a relaxed, supportive setting.

Whether you’re new to watercolour or looking to deepen your practice, these sessions are designed to be both accessible and creatively enriching.

All levels are welcome, and you will achieve some beautiful images which can be used as greeting cards.

I have watercolours and brushes to share, but preferable to have your own palette and brushes.

Watercolour paper can be provided for an additional £15 per person.
