Framework offers free workshops for adults aged 20-50 who may feel isolated, disconnected, or excluded. We provide a welcoming space to develop skills in horticulture and hospitality by growing, harvesting, cooking, and sharing meals together.
Sessions run for four hours, including hands-on gardening or cooking activities, a morning tea break, and a shared lunch. These activities help boost confidence, fitness, and mobility while fostering a sense of purpose through community contribution.
Potager has a professional kitchen where you could learn basic cooking skills, a spacious greenhouse for plant care, and two dedicated garden areas for growing produce and ornamental plants. Our facilities are fully accessible, ensuring everyone is welcome.
Framework operates as a rolling programme with regular start dates. Join us weekly for between three and six months, depending on your needs and goals.
Sessions take place on Fridays from 10am to 2pm, and are supported by two staff members and two volunteers. We have space for up to eight participants at any time.
After completing the programme, you might join Potager’s volunteer team or we can explore local training courses.Workshops are free, funded by the National Lottery Community Fund.
