An introduction to Botanical Colour & Natural Dyes – Friday 20th March 2026

Come and explore the hidden dye plants of early spring alongside the colours that can be found from the scraps from Potager’s kitchen. The workshop will be based in Potager’s beautiful studio with time to go on a foraging walk in the gardens. Explore non toxic mordant techniques, learn to extract colours from flowers, barks and leaves and leave with your very own bundle dyed piece of silk and seasonal colours swatch sheet.

This workshop is suitable for anyone who is curious to learn about botanical colour or who wants to deepen their knowledge of natural dyes. A small group size allows for workshops to adapt to group needs and interests.
