Chilean Guava

Ungi molinae is a dense evergreen shrub with white bowl-shaped flowers in the spring and delicious red fruit in the autumn. Queen Victoria had the fruit grown for her here in Cornwall’s mild climate and sent by train to her table.

Prostanthera cuneata, common name Alpine Mint Bush. This shrub has a lovely herb fragrance when it’s leaves are rubbed. And if you look closely, it’s small flowers are quite beautiful.
