Geum ‘Prinses Juliana’ beneath the Siberian irises is a wonderful sight in the garden this month.
Saxifraga x urbium is a really lovely ground cover plant. They work well in places such as the edge of a path, or a rock garden.
Leucadendron ‘Safari Sunset’. These plants originate from South Africa and therefore suit the warm dry environment of the glasshouse.
Chrysanthemum ‘Suffolk Pink’ This autumn flowering plant is still going through November and it is lovely to have little bursts of colours dotted through the garden.
Prostanthera cuneata, common name Alpine Mint Bush. This shrub has a lovely herb fragrance when it’s leaves are rubbed. And if you look closely, it’s small flowers are quite beautiful.
Perovskia ‘Blue Spire’ has silver-grey foliage and fantastic panicles of violet-blue flowers which bloom in late summer and early autumn.
Anemone x hybrida ‘Elegans’. This one with a visiting hover fly!
Malva moschata f. alba is a hardy perennial which grows with an upright habit.
Libertia grandiflora perennial clump-forming evergreen. Works wonderfully as a cut flower.
Scilla peruviana only just starting to open – looking forward to to seeing it in full bloom!
